View Article  ProductCart Security Update - November 1005

ProductCart has issued the following security notice:

We were recently notified of a security issue. The issue consists in that a hacker could perform an attack against a ProductCart store using SQL injection techniques, in order to retrieve select information from the database (e.g. email addresses).

We have no reports of any security breaches from any ProductCart store. However, we encourage you to patch your store as soon as possible to eliminate this security issue.

Use the "Check for Updates" feature in your Control Panel or click here to download the 2 files that need to be uploaded to your ProductCart store to patch this security problem.

According to our research, this security patch is compatible with ALL ProductCart versions and should not create any issues with customized stores as the affected files are typically never customized.

Please apply this update to your store ASAP. If you have any questions, please submit a support request.

View Article  Beta of Blogzerk Photo Uploader for Windows Released

I’ve just posted an article in the Blogzerk forums with information and a download link for the beta of the Blogzerk Photo Uploader for Windows. This allows Windows users to use the application to select (multiple) images from your hard drive and upload them to an existing or new photo album.

Give it a try and reply in the forum post to let us know how it works (or doesn’t since it is a beta).

For Mac users, we hope to have an iPhoto plugin which will allow you to upload photos and albums from iPhoto to your Blogzerk blog in the next few weeks.
